A lot of people out there have turned work part time online into a full time venture. The most common ways to get your foot in the door have to do with creating your own product, offering a service, or trying some sort of licensed product.
Many people have never even sold their own product before. This refers to affiliate marketing. You just crossed the threshold of the big buzzword these days concerning work part time online. Sell someone else's product and make a commission. Want to know how? Here are the Golden Rules of Success in Affiliate Marketing:
1.If you haven't tried it, don't sell it. This is the number one rule for a darn good reason. You simply won't have enough knowledge or faith in what it delivers to sell it successfully to someone else. Seriously, if you aren't willing to purchase it, you can't endorse a product and answer any questions about it. If someone else would jump into a pool of snakes, would you?
2.Only sell products that complement each other on your webpages. Think about it. Will you seem credible if you are selling alternative health products and the latest trend in junk food on the same page?
3.Build your customer list. The best way to do this is with an opt-in email list. You can sell your affiliate product once, or you can offer a subscription and sell over and over based on your reliable reputation.
Plus, if you get to know your customer base this way, you can find out where the real sales are. Take some time to write a personal email where your clients can get to know you. They might not like you, so what? Not everyone can like you (don't let your head get too big on this one, though). If they don't like it, they'll ask to be taken off the list.
